Nouveautés attendues dans CounterStrike 1.4

Le clan Counter Strike CSA (comité de surveillance des agressions) a pu mettre la main sur le changelog officiel de Valve (monsieur Half-Life et Counter Strike) de la très attendue version 1.4. En voici une copie :

"Bug Fixes :

- intermittent cache assertion when Steam attempts to fix a corrupted cache file
- "Do not run steam at Startup" option
- Installer/Uninstaller :
- Checks Admin privileges before install and prompts user if they do not have permission
- Corrected the system freeze on XP for uninstall
- When opening Steam if another instance is open, an active session window will pop up
instead of an error message
- blob registry in use errors
- preloaders assert if resource in list is a directory
- "enable cache loading" flag reset if game is launched from shortcut
- Default voice to use DirectSound by default
- Fix bug that allows a player automatically chosen as the VIP to keep their weapon.
- Fix exploit that allows Counter-Terrorists to look like Terrorists in certain maps.
- Fix missing entries in the spectator menu.

Changes/Additions :

- users can specify command-line params to HL now by modifying the shorcuts
(like 'steam.exe 0 0 "-32bpp -noipx"' -- they need quotes around them if there are
more than one).
- Hostage AI upgrade
- New Counter-Strike hostage rescue map
- Anti-Cheating system incorporated
- Rework Para accuracy
- Make left and right handed models switchable on the fly (done)
- Incorporate Tracker into Steam beta
- Remove "Use Shooting" from Counter-Strike
- Remove speed penalty when falling off an object.Will only apply when jumping.
- Allow muting of other player's text messages.

- Allow server administrators to bind server to specific IP

Au menu des nouveautés, on peut noter le système anti-cheat intégré et l'amélioration de l'AI des hôtages... Je vous rappelle qu'un serveur Counter Strike est disponible sur Présence PC à l'adresse suivante : 213.215.41.34:27015. Le clan CSA, qui administre ce serveur, a également développé et installé depuis quelques semaines un anti-cheat unique (obligatoire sur notre serveur), Game Guardian. Vous pouvez retrouver ces informations dans le bas de la colonne "services gratuits" sur la page d'accueil.
