Ca fait 6 mois que je suis passé sous mandriva et que je galère pour avoir une connection internet.
Maintenant que c'est fait, je voudrais réussir à étendre mon bureau sur ma TV pour mater mes divx ou mes photos par expl.
Ma carte graphique (ATI Radeon Mobility 9200 (M9+) 5C61 (AGP)) a une sortie TV mais je suis pas sur d'avoir le bon pilote (Card:ATI Radeon (fglrx)) pour ça.
Je suis novice mais je m'accroche et j'ai tout mon temps.

En effet il faut que tu utilise le driver fglrx et si il est deja installé alors ca ssimplifie grandement les choses.
On va vérifier 2 trucs, dans un terminal:
- "glxinfo | grep direct" donne le resultat de cette commande stp
- "aticonfig" regarde si tu a cette commande.

Tu a deja les drivers vu que tu a l'accélération 3D (directrendering).
Par contre tu n'a pas l'utilitaire de configuration de ati et ca c'est moins bien.
Apperemment tu derais avoir ceci dans le menu:

sinon regarde ce que tu a comme commande commencant par "ati"

Pour info,
j'ai suivi les indications d'un site pour installer les pilotes ATI :
j'ai commencé par configurer les sources plf en allant sur le site http://easyurpmi.zarb.org
puis, j'ai installé les sources du noyau ("uname -r" , puis "urpmi kernel-source-2.6" , puis "ls -l /usr/src" pour vérification).
j'ai ensuite installer les packages ati-8.28.8-0.1.20060plf.i586.rpm et dkms-ati-8.28.8-0.1.20060plf.i586.rpm grace à rpmdrake (graphique) qui a aussi installé les dépendances.
J'ai redémarré et j'ai en effet maintenant l'ATI control panel mais qui ne me permet pas d'avoir le big desktop avec ma sortie TV.
La commande aticonfig me propose des tas d'options, j'en ai testé quelques unes :

Après avoir redémarré, j'ai bien un second bureau sur mon écran TV !!!
C'est génial, mais l'ATI control panel ne s'ouvre plus !!! De même que toute application lancée depuis le menu étoile, quelque soit le bureau (ça marche depuis le tableau de bord pour firefox, Konsole, totem mais même pas amarok!!!).
Je n'ai plus accès non plus à mes fichiers (depuis mon bureau => "Dossier personnel" et "Périphériques")
Et je ne peut pas passer une fenêtre d'un écran à l'autre.
J'ai donc fait quelques vérifications recommandées :

Alors, après le dernier message, j'ai essayé de changer la résolution du 2° écran pour y mettre du 800x600, je l'ai fait avec KRandRTray, c'était parfait, mon écran principal restait en 1280x800.
J'ai redémarré, et là, catastrophe, les 2 écrans étaient en 800x600 et en plus tout était bloqué même Konsole, firefox... J'ai ouvert rXVT et tenté un "aticonfig --initial" avant de redémarrer.
J'ai redémarré en 800x600 sur les deux écrans mais cette fois tout est accessible, donc je suis repassé au 1280x800 ; les 2 écrans sont dépendants malgrès la possibilité dans KRandRTray de sélectionner l'un ou l'autre.
Du coup, mon écran TV est entouré d'un cadre noir en haut, en bas et à droite, en plus (et ce depuis le début) la souris est représentée par un grand carré blanc ou bleu !!!!!
Je pense qu'avec les commandes "aticonfig lalalala" il doit y avoir moyen de tout réglé comme je veut, mais je voudrais que vous m'aidiez à savoir si tout est installé correctement avant de prendre le temps de tout configurer.
