J'arrive pas a grave ( merci le firmware !!!)

Apres avoir installe le firmware de mon graveur (LG CDE 8520 B), je n'arrive plus a graver.
Le message "gravure reussi avec succes" s'affiche a la fin de la gravure, mais le cd reste desesperement vide.
Je grave sur traxdata CD-R 52x silver 80min.
J'ai essaye sur verbatim super azo crystal CD-r 48x, meme topo.
J'ai ensuite essaye d'effacer un cd reinscriptible et ca a fonctionne.
La gravure a echoue sur le CD-RW TDK 80min a la vitesse de 10x, mais a marche a la vitesse de 4x.
Je n'y comprends plus rien.Est-ce que le firmware m'empecherait de graver au dela de 4x sur tous les formats?
Si qqu'un pouvait m'aider, merci d'avance.
