plantage win xp compaq presario 2510

Bonjour,

Un ami m'a confié som Compaq Presario 2510 car il plante au démarrage de Win XP (SP1).
En général, il reboote 3 ou 4 fois avant de se stabiliser.
J'ai passé un anti-virus et un anti-spyware, rien n'a été détecté.
J'ai mis à jour le Bios et le driver de la carte graphique car je n'arrive pas à identifier le composant qui pose problème mais pas d'amélioration.
De plus, les ports USB sont inutilisables (point d'interrogation jaune dans la gestion matériel).
Mettre à jour les ports USB ne fonctionne pas !

Je voulais passer un test mémoire mais comme il n'y a pas de lecteur de disquette, je n'ai pas pris la peine de graver un CD bootable pour cela.

Merci d'avance à toute personne qui pourra m'aider, ça fait plusieurs jours que mon ami m'a passer son PC et je ne sais plus quoi faire.
